On the way back from DC we were decidedly going to the USMC Museum, as I hadn’t ever been there. And it would be a crime to drive past it for a 4th time without stopping. Lo and behold, we saw a sign for the National Museum of the US Army. After some quick begging, we stopped and saw the museum. The museum itself looks like an evil lair for a super villain. Or could be right out of the set of Devs.

Inside they have nice exhibits broken up into eras. Overall it just seemed a bit bare compared to other museums I’ve been to. Admittedly they had some parts of the museum closed off for renovations, so maybe that will make it seem like a fuller experience next time.
