Last Christmas the wife got me a reproduction WW2 helmet. I’ve been delinquent in painting the stencils on the helmet. So, yesterday I decided that I should paint it up. The white bits were painted with Mission Model Paint MMP-104 Insignia White FS 17875. Ended up dry brushing the helmet and didn’t really care if the paint job was perfect or not. Back in the day I don’t think they were super specific on how the paint job looked.

Step 2 will be to buy some scrim to put in the helmet. Then maybe onto a full kit? We’ll see what time does to that plan.
